> {width="1.3541666666666667in" > height="1.3076388888888888in"} **[SETTING UP AND TESTING THE PIRATE LIGHTS SECURITY SYSTEM]{.underline}** > {width="1.5097222222222222in" > height="1.082638888888889in"} Before powering up the Pirate Lights Marine Security System, please verify that all the switches are in the off position. {width="0.5873458005249343in" height="1.1145833333333333in"}***Step 1:*** Energize incoming power by inserting the power fuse to the Pirate Lights\ \ Marine Security System. - The Blue Pirate Lights switches should illuminate. ***Step 2:*** Turn on the "White Lights" switch at the Pirate Lights Switch panel. - The RGB Light Bars will light up in White Flood Light Mode. {width="1.1458333333333333in" height="1.9777777777777779in"}{width="0.6875in" height="1.3in"}***Step 3a:*** Download and install Light App from the QR code on the Command Box or from the QR code provided in the box with your lights. ***Step 3b:*** Turn on the "Party Lights" switch at the Pirate Lights Switch panel. - Party Lights will always illuminate in the last function selected from your app. - Open the installed app on your device, you will be able to change colors, intensity, run programed sequences and have them pulse to music played from your device. - *[USER NOTE:]{.mark} you are also able to turn "on" and "off" the RGB party lights from the app, doing this will cause the lights to remain off until you reactivate\ them from the app.* {width="0.6458333333333334in" height="1.145138888888889in"}***Step 4:*** Turn on the "Security" switch at the Pirate Lights Switch panel. - The led lights on the top of the motion sensor will flash for approximately 2 minutes as the sensors warm up and adjusts to the environment. - {width="1.030404636920385in" height="2.2486220472440945in"}After the warm-up period the led lights on the top of the motion sensor will go out. ***Step 5:*** Triger the motion sensor by waving your hand in front of the sensor. - The alarm system is now in mute mode and will only trigger the RGB light bar(s) in the white flood light mode. - The white lights on the RGB light bar(s) will illuminate and there will be a blue led light on the command unit. {width="0.7847222222222222in" height="1.4993055555555554in"}***Step 6:*** Engage the alarm with the FOB (there will be an arming "chirp"), trigger the motion sensor again. - The siren will sound, the blind light will strobe and the white lights will illuminate. - There will be a Blue & Red light on the command unit while it is alarming. - In normal operation, activating the alarm system with the remote FOB when you are out of range of the motion sensor will prevent accidently setting off the alarm. - {width="0.8638888888888889in" height="1.0284722222222222in"}{width="0.6in" height="1.1805555555555556in"}Upon returning to your boat, it is also preferred to turn off the alarm with the remote FOB before you are in range of the motion sensor to avoid accidently setting off the alarm. ***Step 7:*** If your system is equipped with beam break(s), turn on the beam break switch. *Review Beam Break "Theory of Operation" on the Beam Break installation page.* - The alarm will sound and the blind light will strobe. - {width="0.6in" height="1.2127821522309712in"}There will be a Red & Yellow light on the command unit while it is alarming. {width="1.3354166666666667in" height="0.5465277777777777in"}***Step 8:*** If your System is equipped with a float alarm, turn on the "Float" switch at\ the Pirate Lights Switch panel and manually lift the float. - The alarm will sound and the blind light will strobe. - There will be a Red & Green light on the command unit while it is alarming. {width="0.9479166666666666in" height="0.9055555555555556in"}{width="0.6145833333333334in" height="1.2159722222222222in"}***Step 9:*** If your System is equipped with a Smoke/ Heat alarm, turn on the "Smoke/Heat" switch at the Pirate Lights Switch panel and trigger the sensor using a heat gun or smoke alarm test spray. - The alarm will sound and the blind light will strobe. - There will be a Red & White light on the command unit while it is alarming. ***Step 10:*** Adjust the motion sensor. The motion sensor is a key component of your security system and proper setup and adjustment must be performed to have a reliable system -- one that consistently detects all human motion in a defined area without generating false alarms. This operation will take time but only requires being set up once. > Review the Motion Sensors Installation Document and perform testing > and adjustments until you are satisfied with its operation. > > You are done Installing!
